I feel privileged to be able to capture the beauty of everyday life and of life changing event. It is trilling to share my vision of the world with my clients, knowing that the moments I capture will be cherished and inspire fond memories for years to come. In my work my purpose is to create images that not only document what happened but also convey the feeling of the moment.
My biggest joy is to creating images that sparkle with life and color, provoke strong positive emotions and expose the beautiful, whimsical, spontaneous moments of real life and love.
Please take a look at my work and I hope you will see not what I see looking through the camera but the beautiful story that the photograph tells. The intimate moment I was invited to witness and frame with my vision.
Aside from the poetics of my business life, if you’re still interested, here are a few more details about me:
- I am an artist, born in Latvia (its a tiny spot on the map in Eastern Europe), my husband, who is my partner and inspiration, is form Chile. We have two handsome boys, who keep me running and vigilant.
- I have terrible handwriting and I use *way* too many smiley faces in my emails. I tried to stop, I really did. But it’s like my keyboard has a mind of its own and that little happy emoticon appears whether I like it or not.
- I like to think that I can garden, and I’m actually pretty good at it- until the weeds take over… then I give up.
- I love to cook and nobody leaves my home with empty stomach and empty hands (think zucchini bread, jams, etc.)
